Actually, gang, I was itching to know what it was about myself so I actually asked Richard in person. His answer was that a lot of their songs were written when they were high or drunk, so at times the lyrics didn't really mean a whole lot. But for this particular song, it has a few meanings.
1.) They are very good friends with the band Everything, Now!, who have a tendency to write songs about vaginas. So this song is somewhat of a tribute to that bizarre trait (haha).
2.) The more appropriate meaning behind the song is about rebirth. His description was blunt and short, but he just said the real factor in the song is that vagina is a reference to being reborn.
