I honestly think that this song can relate to a girl and her boyfriend, saying the boyfriend doesn't trust the girl because of the mistakes she's made. The boyfriend must obviously only think that she has a bad side and she doesn't do anything good in life.
For instance, I can relate to this. I somewhat cheated on my boyfriend and did a lot of bad stuff in our relationship, and it comes down to now that he doesn't trust that i wont do any of it again, i feel like MY good side isn't worth rescuing by him.
