After thinking about the title, I'm thinking they might have chose it because of the old saying of "Red sky in the morning, sailors warning. Red sky at night, sailors delight." And have 'sails' and 'shore' either metaphorically mean something about losing a relationship[or a relationship about to end], or it actually meaning sailors in a shipweck.
