I think this song is about over religious people who preach hate and condemnation on others. The first example that came to me is that church in Westboro, going around and killing people as the "hands of a god", and condemning them, unseeing of their own sins and faults . This song is a warning about the religious type of hypocrites and a call to look at themselves fro their own sin before they "choke on the smoke" of real justice.
