this is the original skinheads who date back to the late 60s/70s had nothing to do with race. not the neo-nazi's that came about in the late 80s. they represented the working class who got shit out of life for all that they did for work in the middle class. they eventually became SHARPs (skinheads against racial prejudice) out of respect for the reggae music that they loved, created by and introduced by the jamaican immigrants that came to england. they then got into punk and created oi and ska together. there are many different skinheads of different race/color. this is the type of skinhead that this song is talking about.
