this could very easily be a song about love for a woman or looking for a glimer of hope in the world to lead us into a better time then we live at the moment. i think its both, it's almost how the world is such a crappy place and it's hard to be positive and try and get change all the time because of all the obstacles but the one thing that keeps him going is this person who gives him strength. on the flipside it's about how our lives have been made terrifying and paranoid by groups, governments and powerful people and how surely there has to be more to life than what we have and he's looking and hoping for someone or people to realise and want more for ourselves than what we currently do
