I can so relate because I have been hurt bad in past relationships ,but i cant let that hold me back for future relationships, because someone great could pass me bye if I dont let them ," kiss my scars." Because Issac is right....whether you have been hurt or not, " if you love someone you love them all the same."- meaning that love is love, its never different, it is always amazing.
I definitely agree. It's hard to tell if it's just because it relates to the situation that I'm in, but it does seem like a relationship where they have been together long enough to love each other, but they're just sort of getting over the honeymoon phase. It's no longer about always being on your best behavior, but they're willing to embrace (or kiss) each other's flaws (scars).
