I think this song is really relatable. My interpretation is that he has an agenda, like plans for his future, and he was going to be something but he got caught up in distractions. It could be drugs, but i think he's talking about any form of procrastination in general. He doesn't want to think about the things that stress him out so he'll forget about it through alcohol, drugs, and sex.
The wheels are stopped done so let me off
Deal the cards but already lost
Kill me now just to get applause
Steal the shot, run and set it off
^^This is talking about how he feels its too late to get his life together.
I feel and I fear and I want and I can't break away
I^^and this is a feeling i often get. I get stressed, then i fear that my life is falling apart, and i want to get my life together but i can't break away from my lifestyle. I feel like its already to late. I think he means the same thing as i feel sometimes.
If they buy it for you how you not gonna drink it?
If they fry it for you how you not gonna eat it?
If they throw it at you how you not gonna hold it?
Touch it, taste it, love it, and fuck with it a moment?
^^This just further shows that he can't break away from his lifestyle. Guilty pleasures are too hard to turn down.
This whole song is basically about a vicious cycle that he got himself into, learning to ignore his problems through other things, and now he feels like he's not making anything of himself or improving in any way. He just feels hopeless because he's trapped in the lifestyle he's been living.
The song's about "guilty pleasures hard to turn down" ? He's "trapped in the lifestyle he's been living"? So that's it? That's all there is to it? It's that simple? Huh. Fascinating. A waste of time he is, isn't he, since his head is stuck up his arse and his feet are nailed to the same old ground. I suppose people just turn old and boring and settle. For many it comes with the gray hairs and loss of looks... and eventually the loss of being able to acquire the opposite sex. Good luck to that guy! Tic Toc Tic...

Tic Toc Tic Toc...the hands of time are gradually moving. He had better party down while he still can. ...Now it's on to a GLORIOUS morning and day ;)
I'm sorry. I just can't let this go. The interpretation is so humorous....a human being reduced to his vices. Wow. He's deep. Such a quality man. I'm sure he makes his momma proud ;)

Perhaps society should bottle up his ego and his expertise in bed and sell it in bottles at the circus. Probably get more money than selling a....well...a wooden leg, for example ;)

Let's try this one on for size, Woody: Most humans are more fearful of themselves... reaching their potential and others knowing who they are inside. Vices are the human's way to deal with what he refuses to face. I smoke and overeat due to stress. Others sleep around to fill a void. And others drink themselves into a stupor to forget the reality of their lives. No man freely chooses to live a destructive life; he is merely contained by the fear which inhibits the walls of his mind. The truly free (unlike me) don't have a "need" (operative word)...

The rest of us are no different than caged animals; we built our own confines and we either die in them or we break free. Life boils down to choice. And I'm quite sure there are plenty of songs that deal with that topic:)
