Used to listen to this song so long ago. Not sure if this is the version (artist) I heard, but it probably is. It's raining here today (and I love rain), but there's something both so peaceful yet sad about rainy nights. Obviously about someone who has left someone (s/he has his suitcase and is traveling away from that person) and s/he crosses his mind as he goes. Have always wanted to take a trip by train cross country and experience the quiet nights with just the sound of the rail.
