Years later we are listening to possible sound tracks to add to a video game commercial ... and we find this PERFECT song to add. (It worked fabulous with the battleground background.) A seeming hopeless and desperate life and death situation that two log-lost warrior spirits find themselves trapped by.
The song is actually about two humans, whose relationship is being twisted and tortured by others so adamantly, that their desire to share their hope for each other seems ... well ... kind of hopeless.
(But it only seems that way - for IF they hang in there - they can both survive.)
All they have to do is keep the faith - and keep trusting each other - and they will come off conqueror ... and find each other alive ... when others can no longer resist their re-connection in this life and the next.
I appreciate the song in it's entirety but what's more is my appreciation for other peoples' analysis of songs. Sharing a passion for music, seeing it here in pure perfect form really makes me feel ...not so alone...? Corny tho it may be.

Moving on, I just wanted to voice my adoration for POWDERSNOWBOY's review or "break down" analysis if you will. Could never have said it better myself and if wishes came true I'd be granted your ability to simplify so much down to literally 5 or 6 sentences (more like a run-on 5 but who cares, lol.)
