This song is overly addictive. I feel like I'm on drugs when I'm listening to it. Not that I really know what that's like...Anyway, it's just so lightening and vibrant and alive. It really makes you question too. I think it's all about the fear of commitment. "Say you mean it, seal it up. Say you wanna try." It's about begging your love to accept what you know they feel. "Why won't you believe in it 'til it's gone?" The low point of all human characteristics, we want things we can't have and we realize what we want too late. Love is such an ineffable emotion, and it seems pointless to even try to describe what it is...Or maybe this song is about setting your iPod to shuffle, and you hear a song that you think you might like, but you decide to skip over it, and by the time you realize that you wanted to listen, it's already gone.
