Pretty obvious shot at religion again. Love it. The song, specifically, I think speaks about his mother or a close relative/friend that exposed him to the lie of religion. He was tormented by the concept of faith, and he feels betrayed and lied to. He's "witnessing your (the "her" in the first part of the song) addiction" and her "demons dancing right in front of my eyes." He prays but nothing ever changes. He is frustrated with his life and he just wants it to get better.

At least, that is my take. Great fucking album!

I just have one slight tweak to your words...

He doesn't just want his life to get better... He is faced with the hardships and challenges we all face, and because he has been indoctrinated into the stupidity of religion, he prays for help. Of course, this is useless, and he finds it dismaying and frustrating.
