To me it's about the way we reconstruct the places we've been and re-experience them in the process of remembering them. And when those memories are lost to age or disease, the places and people in them evaporate, they no longer exist. "It's not a house anymore", its original meaning is corrupted or lost. And it's especially painful when it's a person who's lost.

The closing line is beautiful, is there anyone who really wants to see time keep moving, to lose the moment and only have the memory?

That makes sense!

I interpreted the "Try to recognize your son"-part as a kick against your father molding you to be like him and not giving you the freedom to be yourself.

Then the "Is there anyone who wants to see the sun?"-part continues on that path. He's pretty much saying that people like to think that they embrace change but in reality, it's often fought against and not wanted.

you're thinking too abstract. yes, the last line is a general statement, but you're assuming that the entire song is talking about this as a general situation. The song is pretty straightforward, it's about a spouse departing and breaking a family up.
