VERSE 1: the guy who loves her spots her at the police station and is touched by what has become of the girl he loves and how she(looking for fame/golden years) has gotten used to this 'garbage life'
VERSE 2: Again he spots her on the newspaper and notices how she's changed from the who she used to be, a person with confidence (convictions). and remembers how they were together back then and decides to go after her to save her.
Chorus: He's where she (or they) used to sleep reminiscing and decided to go after her (to save her)
