"The EP will feature eight songs, broken into four 2-song couplets. The EP is loosely based on Ecclesiastes, and tells the story of a young man's journey to true manhood. The tracks follow a young man who thinks he has everything in life, loses it all, despairs over the loss, tries to find meaning where it cannot be found, despairs that no meaning exists - and then finds the only true meaning in life.
Track 2 is entitled "Unresolved." For music buffs, the title refers both to the lyrics and music, with the song intentionally not resolving to the root note of either key. (Yes, there is a subtle mid-song key change.) Unlike some of the songs that follow, the lyrics for Unresolved are simple and direct. Unresolved tells a story that is all too common and all too painful: Boy meets girl. Boy and girl fall in like. Boy and girl fall in love. Boy finds all his worth and meaning in girl. Girl dumps boy for another guy. Boy is crushed. The end."
