One of the most upsetting things I've ever heard, and absolutely brilliant. This girl is madly in love with him, but he just doesn't reciprocate. He doesn't feel about her like she does of him, and he's racking his brains over this and trying to figure out why it is this way by referencing how perfect everything seems to be. At the end, though, he accepts resignation of how he can't quite feel the way he wishes he did of her.
I only wonder which of the two was the case: a. he once loved her, and has just fallen out of the passion that they once had, or b. he never loved her and has been trying to convince himself to give their relationship a chance since the start.
