I keep playing this song over and over again. This song completely resembles a relationship of mine that just ended. My favorite line is the part where it says "the only line that is true is the line you're from" I believe he is talking about your family being the only thing you ever really have. For me that is true. I've been through many different relationship and lost a couple different girls that I really felt like I loved. When they were gone all I had was my family. I think when he says I had the itch to fly so I flew he's talking about just being single for a while after leaving a relationship. Now at best we would make our dreams with something used could be talking about getting back with a former love.
