I could seriously be over-thinking this, but here goes.
I think this is about how 2 people can be absorbed in completely different things (she's a dancer, he's a musician) and how easy it is to forget the beauty in other people and their interests. Then, the other person shows you what's important to them and it opens up a whole new world.
