I think this song it pretty much about being in a sick relationship, not for a partner fault but simply for his/her way of being. It kinda express a feeling like "for a long time I was in love with you and I wasn't able to say no, it's not your fault it's ok, it's just that I can't live like this anymore".
The "I'm just your long time curse" means (in my opinion, of course) that you really understand that your parner doesen't love you, he/her is just obsessed by you in a certain way, but this has nothing to do with affection.
