I think its about lusting over a man, who possesses you with his beauty, and controls you like a voodoo doll. as for the fire in the air, fire could be a metaphor for him, warming and illuminating, but but also dangerous "there is no returning". if she gives into the lust she cant take it back,and she might wish she never had slept with him. "the needles" are things used to control a voodoo doll, and how much he controls her. This is just my Interpretation but it makes sense to me ^_^
