This line in the song really speaks to me. People spend the majority of their time looking for that purpose in life, at times it become very tedious and tiresome. For some of these people (myself included), we get stuck in a rut, believing that we will never find purpose or we never had purpose in life, and that terrifies us. So we purposely numb and freeze ourselves to overcome that fear.
The song makes me want to listen again and again but I couldn't get the tune of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Saturday Night Special out of my head while listening to it. Not a bad thing-it is an awesome song too!
