I think it's about people that live without a belief. And to me I see this as Christianity, "Take my hand I will lead thee to where you need to be And when you wake you shall be purified and free!" When you become Saved (Accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior), you are purified of your sins and you feel free.

"So trapped by their addictions What about the ones you love? Don't they mean anything, anything at all? They all find themselves distorted by a choice" Addictions represents transgressions/sins and he asks about the ones you love, and if you will try to save them too because they are "distorted" which I think of it as "damned" to hell.

"Put faith back in your heart Don't let it leave your side" Being saved requires faith and to be committed, so don't lose what you have.

"No longer will you hurt! No longer will you age! No longer will you fear! No longer will you cry!" In Heaven you have no pain, age, fear, and sorrow.

"There are those among us That find themselves compelled to change They know who they are They know who they are Who will you be? Who will you be?" Christians are to spread the word to others. This is saying that christians should be seen different and stand out. Then it questions "who will you be?" Asking what your choice is either in religion, or Heaven or Hell.
