I think that Christopher Drew is somewhat wrong, and somewhat right. But the reason why i think that the church judges a lot for people's apperance, is because in the bible it has some rules or things that God wants us to follow,for example how we look from the outside,so that we can keep our testimony as Christian. i am a person that believes that the way u look is the way you are from the inside.And the only thing that the church wants to do is for us to keep our testimony. The reason why the church is so strict about this and the reason why God set this laws and rules, is because i guess he just wants obedience from us, if he hadn't set this laws, any one would be aloud to go to his kingdom.
i agree with you, the church does judge, but they judge because people "know" the truth, or like whats right and wrong, and even though they know, they don't do whats right, they just want to "be happy" but the truth is they are really not happy, they don't know where they are going to end up. That's why God is hurt when he sees us from heaven, because we know that he is there and that there will be a day where he is going to judge the way we lived our lives and how just turned our backs...
