It's in the Rain

This is just me. I realize that the song is meant to be soothing, however, it sounds sad to me. In fact, it reminds me very much of a person suffering from depression who is going to a friend for comfort.

"Listen to the rain Here it comes again Hear it in the rain"

The next part

"Feel the touch of tears that fall They won't fall forever In the way the day will flow All things come, all things go"

feels like the friend is trying to say "things will get better. Tomorrow is another day."

And the end leading slowly to someone committing suicide.

"Even when this moment ends Can't let go this feeling Everything will come again In the sound falling down Of the sky as it cries Hear my name in the rain"

This is probably wrong but these are my thoughts on the song.
