going on what bathosdrift said, from the chorus i can see a sort of domesday parallel there. 'when the medicine you fancy has all run out' - i.e. when we've used up all our resources, and the world comes to an end, 'all good junkies go to heaven' - all the 'good' believers are taken into heaven.
i think there may be something in that for the rest of the song, maybe more religious themes as we see on loads of the new glassjaw stuff.. but i can't draw out any more specifics on this one.
