This is my favourite Redgum song. The live version is particularly good with the extra acoustic guitar solo.

I will say one thing - John Williamson did an appalling version of this song. He even managed to get the words slightly wrong, showing he missed the point entirely of the last line - "I won't be back when the droving's done".
