This one is a bit more cryptic than the rest of songs from Pet Grief, but if I were to place it, it sounds like the narrator is speaking to/of somebody who is a bit reclusive and who doesn't like to go out, and he's trying to convince this person to come out with him but he/she doesn't want to. Then, after the night carries on without that person, the person becomes upset with being left out. He's saying, "Change your mind and just come out with us, because if you don't, you can't be mad at me anymore since it's completely your fault."
