This is Andy's song to his fans. Andy said himself it was dedicated to and for his fans :). He's basically saying he will always be there for you during your deepest, darkest, saddest moments and if you need someone to lean on or look forward to he is always going to be there no matter what. It's like his promise to you. If you're a religious person it could also be about God, but that wasn't what Andy was trying to make it about. It's a very beautiful song.
