More specifically though, given the title and reference to cutting off a dick, it's about frustration with masculine or macho behavior and what goes with it (such as enthrallment with sporting events). Peering under the flesh in the first verse I find an analogy for looking beneath the surface, which would then thesis the song as something like, "Without your manhood, are you anything at all?"
