But anyways, i'm thinking this song is from the perspective of a man who is going through a separation/divorce, and is reflecting on him and his gf's/wife's lives as it lead up to their union/marriage, and then now - their separation/divorce....an of course i'm thinking the girl in the story, is Anna.
OR, it could be the girl, Anna, singing about the man and how she perceives his perspective of their lives together and then their spereation

I mean i could totally before wrong, and don't want to sound like i'm saying i know for sure this is what the song is about....it's just what i'm thinking.
