First off I love Capital lights and I love this song it's one of my favorites.
Secondly (directed at cheeseninja3)
"Counting on hope, only living for the night of your life. As anyone can see that you've created your god." I think it's relatively obvious this song is about someone that rather have fun and sin then count on hope to get them to heaven even thought they know deep down that hope isn't enough as shown in the lines "Are you open to suggestions?
My educated guess is no answer.
Got a simple yes or
know-ing that I'm right when you're left where you don't wanna be."
The majority of "Christians" I know are like this and honestly because of that this song has just as much and probably more meaning to me than any song that specifically mentions God and it sounds awesome.
Thirdly (also directed at cheeseninja3) A christian band isn't defined a "Christian band" by just lyrics, you also have to take in consideration that they are all christian band members they don't swear or have any form of vulgar wording in their lyrics, they didn't use the christian label to become popular and they have decent meanings behind their music. If you ever read about Capital Lights you would know that they are making the music they want to make and if that's songs about breaking up with girlfriends then I say over and over again to keep doing it as long as they stay Christians and make some of the best music I have ever heard in my life.
