I think this song is an obvious lead-in to Breaking Point. Allow me to be a little more detailed.
"There is nothing I would not give."
--To me, he is talking about material possessions. He would give away everything he owns to have the world be better (I know, it doesn't make sense. Read on. Trust me, it will make sense).
"These are the days of calm."
--The "calm before the storm" scenario. Again, this whole song is a lead-in to Breaking Point. Following the lyrics from Breaking Point, this interpretation of at least this line is obvious.
"Please understand these are the days of calm."
--Begging humanity to realize that the world isn't better; in fact, it is about to completely go to shit. Again, the "calm before the storm."
"We don't forget. We don't Forgive."
--Talking about humanity. We (humans) do not forget or forgive anyone or anything. This is why wars happen. This is why violence happens. This is why the world is starting to crumble.
Breaking Point goes on to kick ass and further the points I made above. Just my 2 cents though.
