okay, i noticed a lot of people said stuff like "dude, this is a satanic song, shield your ears if you don't wanna go to hell." well, by reading the lyrics, i've come to the conclusion that the devil is a metaphor for war and predjudice. here's some examples:
they mention jesus's crucifixtion. now this is probably where they lose you but that's just saying that, due to human error and stupidity and predjudice the innocent man was mudered
the communism in russia bit. that's under the war category, human greed and evil led to the murder of people again, all for nothing.
WW2. that's predjudice(holocaust) and war(no crap). because one man was greedy enough to try to take on the world for his own agenda, millions of lives were lost.
Notice a pattern?
100 years war. it was fought "for the gods they made" basically, people fought and died for their beliefs because they didn't want to be predjudiced against.
the JFK/RFK assassination. JFK was killed cuz he was against the "devil"(aka evil) and wanted to end the loss of lfe while RFK was killed because he wanted to help end predjudice.
