Kitty was the Diary of Anne Frank.... Anne give the name Kitty to her diary so it became a private friend to here and it came on home wit out a name (was a gift for her birth day june 12 of 1942)... and to the island that is the Netherlands where Amsterdam is...she never gave up and constantly tried to build a new tomorrow with the things she got in hand and her sister Margot Frank.... she starts writing the book in Amsterdam( the Island) hided in small rooms with her family and some friends because of the nazi party that was trying to kill all the Jude people as all of you may know :( then she is transported to Bergen-Belsen ( product of a treason) and sadly she died there with her sister... Victim of violence and science, for all the experiments the nazi did on people over there, ... then the book came home, to Amsterdam because her dad survived, rescued the diary and made it public... So both speak in tongues, for the world ( the diary has been translated in almost every language in the world)... Anne and Kitty

And depression its a thing Anny repeats over and over in the diary and how bad she was feeling but made the best to be in shape for her and her family

Oh and blasé means the innocence of her about the world outside at this time of history and the way she tries to ignore the thing that the war was something that was ending peoples life every day... and every day she tried not to think about all the little bad things that the war carried but some times she lost the battle with this kind of feelings and felt in depression but then she made up a lot of games and ways to not think in the war outside of the world she was building
