^ anytime anyone writes a long detailed analysis describing every stanza i just automatically assume it's bullshit and i don't read it. i just assume you'll supplant your own life into the verses.
While the author of the verses might have had one meaning in mind, we all have only our own subjective lenses to interpret from, and we're all going to interpret in different ways. And yes, I, for one, like being thorough.

I wish I could supplant YOUR life into this to make it more relevant to you, dear internet person, but I don't know you. It'd be nice, if, instead, you contribute your own argument.

Cheerstricken that post was utter drivel, you honestly did put subjective lenses on.
If you knew who this artist was and really paid attention to what music she makes and why. You would understand why your post and interpretation of the lyrics is kind of insulting to the concept of her music.

tUnE-yArDs is not an artist that would only write about emotions song after song, especially a very basic break up song. That kind of thing is more reserved for bands without artistic sight. Yes some people put their lives into their work, (even great artists) but you find...

Yes some people put their lives into their work, (even great artists) but you find more independent artists (and I mean that in the real sense) actually make art out of their work. Create something new or try and make a point threw a song. That is something that break up songs just don't do and something I would never credit this brilliant artist with being shallow enough to do.
She is also a very intelligent individual so giving it such a basic run through does her no justice.
You came up with ties to the most basic of human emotion and actions in every case. Yes it is easy to put that vibe into any song written in a similar style. It is the knowledge you lack on the subject that makes you so very wrong here.
It took me months worth of listening to the album to understand the higher concepts behind it.
The synopsis I just wrote I listened to the song on repeat going over and over different parts just too make sure it was accurate. If I wanted to write a synopsis the size of yours on my point I could have I just didn't feel the need to pull the proof out of every line (believe me there is proof throughout the whole song)
If you think detailed analysis of song meanings is bullshit and "don't read it" then why the hell go to and register on a site called "song meanings"?

Sometimes I really disagree with interpretations on here but I'd much rather read a "long detailed analysis describing every stanza" than a "woot such and such is a god" post or worse, any post describing anyone else as stupid or telling someone they just don't "get it". Come on.

That shows how small minded you are. All you want to do is find the shortest most incomplete definition of a song and move on with your life instead of reading an analyzing every point of view of the lyrics to form and complete your own view of the lyrics. You are the problem with music today.
