oh the broken hearted! I love these songs - I love this song yea, Canada! I think it's about a young couple, the gal is influenced by her father (she obviously doesn't have a sence of her own identity yet!! doesn't mean she wont) and the life/pathway your family can expect you to go. BTW achamenian!! my best friend who is a gal (with no money)was dumped her sr year high school by her rich boyfriend who's dad urged him to date another gal who's family had money. yea it sucks to get dumped especially when your sure that it was influenced by someone other than your ex partner. Best of all he isn't going to Change!!!! It takes courage to be yourself!!! and the worst part is some people do - they change due to rejection,and try to 'fit in'
