Basically, in Babyshambles two of the old band members were Jamie Perrett and Peter Perrett Jnr, who are the sons of Peter Perrett who is the lead singer and song writer of The Only Ones who wrote the original. So i always thought this was a tribute to The Only Ones because of the link there is between the two bands...
I think I read Peter Perrett even performed with Babyshambles when they had his two sons in the band once, so their is a connection between the two here
