If you've ever been abused repeatedly, whether it be emotional, physical, or sexual, then this song actually makes a lot of sense. Just based off what is written, I don't think it's necessarily sexual at all. To me the song is about finally harvesting enough anger, pride, self-love, just SOMETHING to finally stand up and not back down to my abuser, forgoing self-preservation by 'poking the bear' and completely exposing myself (hence peel), physically and emotionally, to the following retribution.
First stanza: 'Poking the Bear'. You know what to say to really rile the abuser up - whether it be talking about what he or she has done to you, how he or she is a heartless piece of shit, that you hate everything involving this person - all with the intent of enraging the abuser by calling out the truth. To say such harsh or 'low' things, remaining your best to remain cold as they had been cold, no tears or sympathy, just controlled anger. Dare the abuser to touch you as they have before, but this time, the fight within will not be extinguished. You will not let your anger go. You will not let the abuser beat you anymore into submission. You refuse to let it go.
Chorus: Once again, the abused has finally came to the point of standing up for his or herself and this time will not be making an excuse for the abuser pardoning them from all crimes - no more clumsiness-made bruises, no more "I deserved it,", no more tolerating something as if the treatment was normal. Right here, right now, standing up against the abused, willing to take as much time as it needs to confront the abuser knowing almost exactly what's about to happen next yet knowing that this time the ending will be different. Second Stanza: Continued from the first. The first couplet denotes arguing from the abuser, the abused still provoking by saying something to the effect, "You can't pretend you're something else! Won't touch me again? You never had a problem with it before!"

@longlostredemption I Agree and It's unfortunate we understand.

Do your thing your way

Peace

@longlostredemption He wasn't abused by anyone. He was abused by his drug addiction. That is what the song is about.
