I think the song is about the bad mixture of comming clean, and getting closer to someone who seems to escape you. I think the reference to "skeletons in one´s closet" is talking about those aspects of you that you get to share only when you get close to someone, the acutal intimacy (not the one related with sex) but this person runs off every time something "new" shows up, everytime they get closer, this person takes a step back "I´ve grown to love your disappearing acts, do one more pretty please!" is a little sarcastic, it´s like saying make up your mind, this makes me sick, so either you like me with all of my skeletons, or you don´t like me and disappear forever.
