the writer of these lyrics has written them in a way that, when translated literally, make a lot more sense in english than they do in the conventional construction of italian grammar. or maybe it's just my weirdness that it makes sense to me.
either way, it's definitely about confusion and not wanting to be in a relationship due to feeling inferior to the other, because the other knows what s/he wants, who s/he is, where s/he is... and the narrator knows not. the narrator is incredibly upset about it to the point of so it seems suicide (I don't want to wake up-- to think of you)
