Americano Lyrics

Possibly one of the songs she said she was inspired to write after all the gay marriage hubbub. All the parts are there - "I don't speak your Americano" being I don't agree with America, the popular vote, etc. Maybe? "I won't speak your Jesus Cristo" - bigots' interpretation of the Bible as against gays? Refusing to bow to either consensus - political or religious. "We can marry on the west coast" - this inspiration came after prop 8 was overturned here in California. "I have fought for how I love you" - Very powerful line, really, and evokes that struggle for equality. "Edge of the law" - Something to do with the legality now? Like, your love is made out to be illegal.

As for the Spanish parts...I need help :P

She said it's to be a mariachi house number...can't wait to hear whatever the hell THAT is xD

This sounds like a revolution. Cannot WAIT for Born This Way, I pre-ordered the deluxe today.

I wasn't even looking at it in that light, but BRAVO to you!!! I agree, it can defiantly lean that way and if so Brava to Gaga. That is a genius way of looking at it.
