this took a lot of guts to write. he stands up to their love even as theres no "we" any longer, as she keeps playing what simply has to be a frown. their love grew but it grew up, which is the first step to getting old; first you´re shaping, what follows is anthesis and by eventually losing verve and energy. he recognizes all of this yet unable to reach her. And if he´s really wrong, if she actually cant see the - a fact not to be challenged - timelessness of their love, then hey...what is she doing here? whos she supposed to be, and where, cause its certainly not here. and thats the point of interest in my opinon here: he wont break down and cry, he stands by his love! he can lose her, but not the idea of their love. he isnt the begger who tries to run after her and get her back with whatsoever, she broke his heart by tearing down their love - shes just a woman, but the thing they created together should have been timeless, so he would never have ended it from his side . he may had the same thoughts as her, but came to another conclusion. maybe because of the thing they got through together, and the way they build a cocoon, a special place seperated from the rest of the world. he has made his decision, she made hers. so the only thing left to do is pointing her to the door, exclaiming she could leave if she really wanted to.
