I sort of get the "crazy stalker" interpretation, but I think Jonathan is so awkward and desperate (see: every other song on the album) that it tows the line between affectionate and creepy. He's obsessive, sure, but that doesn't make him creepy or a stalker. Having been in similar situations, it's always sad when I see people interpreting painful awkwardness for "creepiness." I wouldn't be surprised if Jonathan has Social Anxiety Disorder.
