I think I have a different take on this song. To me it reminds me of a very attractive woman who just is so bored because everyone is always nice to her that she makes up her own problems. I once saw an interview with Angelina Jolie and you could tell this was just a girl that got everything handed to her so in order to feel important I guess she created all these problems for herself. Of course she didn't say that in the interview, but watching it that was what I thought. I thought basically here is this spoiled brat so to get attention she would do things to shock people. I've known girls like this that are extremely attractive and get everything handed to them so to try to seem edgy they make up problems-they date psychos, cut themselves, take drugs, etc. That's what the song reminds me of anyway.
