This is one of her most popular songs - or at least it was back in the day!! Anita's voice is adorable and always impeccably hits the perfect notes. And the dialogue between her and Roy Elridge is pretty funny, too. The queen of scatting jazz will never go out of class! =D
I love Anita for what she brought to the music world. She had style, she did. Her charisma carried over into her singing, too, which makes her songs so much more fun to listen to!
One thing I don't get about the lyrics, though, is what does 'hep' mean?? That word always pops up in old big band songs. If anybody's got a clue, do tell! =)
