It could be about two people breaking up, but the opening lines make me think about someone accepting death. "She said goodnight, to all the lights that made her seem to glow."

She has glimpsed death, knows its coming soon, and is waiting for him to choose the time "Her hair parades for him to stay but he decides to go. He makes his way, from a subtle place. Sometimes he says hello. It takes him days to move her way. She knows it's time to go."

By this interpretation the last lines are saying it may "...take[s] a lot to know yourself way down", but "it means a lot to find it[death] so easy." Death will be easier if you know yourself way down.

Breaking up with someone or letting go of a past version of yourself can be seen as manifestations of death. Much of what I said above would still apply; so perhaps it is just about accepting change and moving on. Maybe your moving on from somebody, maybe its yourself, maybe its life.
