This song is about an escape. Death is the easiest way. She would like to die because everything is too overwhelming and emotional at this point. She's "tired" and "wants to go to bed." In the bible death is always likend to a very deep sleep. "Don't feel bad" because it's what she wants and feels she will be at peace.
In the movie this cover of this song was used for she wants the lobotomy, It's the perfect escape other than suicide. The end result will take her away. All of her pain will be locked away in a cell inside of her heart. She no longer has to deal with the pain. "She'll be gone", still alive but gone to the world and everyone around her.
