Unpopular opinion:
I think that this song is about someone loving someone but they're not together anymore
like when he says "gouge our your eyes" it means he doesn't want her to see the pain he's in because of her and "pull your heart to the floor" so that she could'nt love anyone except him again or that he didn't want her to feel sorrow for him.
"this blade it feels so cold, baby hold me while i'm shaking" means that he obviously cut himself due to depression about her and "hold me while i'm shaking" because after you cut yourself you feel a shock which actually might shake you.
"i'll stand back as you bleed" is him waiting for her to do the same as he did for her.
"this knife has pierced my soul" means he won't ever feel the same again
"yes i'll laugh out with blind eyes" mocking her as what she's doing, she can't she the pain he's in so she feels perfectly fine.
"take me out of this place" suicide.
-i'm not saying this is what it actually means, it's just my opinion on this song.
