The speaker wishes she weren't getting married to this other person, but he knows that it's the right thing for her to do (maybe it's because he can't be with her fully due to his own circumstances). The last line really speaks to me, "she will be left lonely, but she will be right." It's getting married for the sake of it because it's "biologically time" and you've been with a person forever so it seems like the right thing to do.
