Cover art for Shapes lyrics by We Came As Romans

I think this is trying to show how far the world has fallen from the God given meaning of man kind. I know this is not a "christian band," but their songs definitely support what christianity stands for. Shapes is showing all the faults of man in the recent years, and how much of an impact one person has on world conflict; that not only do we need God in the world, but we need to rid the world of hate and evil. "Dispel the serpent's lie," symbolizes ridding the world of Satan's (the serpent) lies. "Unveil what we need to see," is speaking to God, asking to show man how to live the way we were meant to. I know this is a very religious meaning, but you're all free to interpret it any way you want. No matter what, they only want good in the world, and it's shown deeply through their lyrics.

Love the way you said that.
